Directions to the Thayer House and Gilbert Bean Museum
From the Turnpike
In Natick take exit for Route 128/95 and continue on to Route 128/93, taking
exit 18 (Washington Street, Braintree). Go through 3 sets of lights. At the 4th
light turn left onto Union Place (in front of Fire Department), then right onto
Tenney Road. Look for our parking lot on right.
From Boston
Take exit 17 off Rt.3 south (Union Street, Braintree). Take 1st
exit off the rotary (Union Street). Go straight through the light at the T
station & up the hill. At the top, take a left onto Washington Street & go left
at the next light (Union Place). Take 1st right onto Tenney Road and
look for our parking lot on the right after the Fire Department.
From the South
Take exit 17 off Rt.3 north (Union Street, Braintree). Take 3rd exit

Public Transportation
The properties are an easy 5 minute walk from the Braintree T station. Take the
MBTA red line to Braintree. On exiting the station, take a left and walk down
to Union Street. Take a left on Union Street and walk up the hill (under the
train bridge) to Washington Street. Take a left at the light and then left
again at the next light onto Union Place (in front of Fire Department). Take 1st
right onto Tenney Road & look for the Gilbert Bean Museum on the right.
