K1USN Radio Club Members of the K1USN Radio Club around the South Shore have joined with the Braintree Historical Society and are now located in the lower level of the Watson Museum and Research Center. They plan to offer free amateur radio educational programs to the community, with the primary focus being local school and scouting groups. Adults and students would receive a brief introduction to the history of radio and participate in Morse Code demonstrations with the code practice oscillators. Several of the Club members have also begun work on a new website. More details will be forthcoming. Please address any questions and suggestions to Harold Pugh at k1rv@arrl.net.
